ACC Art Books has announced a new memoir by one of David Bowie’s closest friend of over 60 years, Geoff MacCormack.

First edition, number 119 of 350 deluxe copies from a total edition of 2,000, signed by Bowie and MacCormack, and with the additional portrait of Bowie signed by MacCormack in the printed envelope. Shot in Los Angeles, London, New Mexico and Russia, Geoffs images capture Bowie recording, acting, travelling, relaxing throughout the years 1973 to 1976. After three years of touring, recording and traveling with Bowie, MacCormack started an award winning (Gold Clio, Ivor Novello) music production partnership with Simon Goldenberg who he met, coincidentally, in The Three Tuns pub, home of Bowie’s earlier ‘Arts Lab’. Apart from Mike Garson - who was already installed on piano and mellotron - I was one of four new recruits.All images are limited to only 100 editions, with each print individually numbered, and either stamped or embossed and signed by Geoff on the front, ready to be framed.

His engaging story will chronicle the author’s childhood in Bromley where he met David at the age of eight, quickly forming a bond over their mutual love of music – especially the brand new sounds coming from America in the 1950s. Images bring MacCormack’s stories to life, showing the places he and Bowie inhabited, the people they met and the adventures they shared. From Station to Station is the untold story of three years writing, recording, performing, living and travelling with David Bowie.
